Heavy falldown in Lagos,

 

Temperature in lagos rainfall 26°C°F. Residents of the state as attributed in staying home today after heavy rainfall which occurred in the state the third day of the month of July, 2024.

Companies with human resources departments are already receiving emails from employee saying due to the weather in their various locations, it would be difficult for them to make it to work today further, others said their children are not exempted all roads leading to their various schools are flooded as a result they can't leave their children alone.

When I went to Surulere, Kilo, the streets were inundated with individuals who were loitering because the rain had damaged their homes, upsetting the neighborhood's competitive atmosphere. Another area affected by the flood is  in Isheri-Osun Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State a resident explained that The rain has entered her house again  just look at the environment. 

Wednesday’s downpour rendered homes flooded, with water reaching mid-level heights inside residences.Many residents are stuck in their drowned living areas, unable to even sit down, as a result of the heavy floods.

We’ve been pleading with the government for better drainage systems, but nothing seems to be done. we’re stuck inside with water everywhere.

Many areas such as Iyana-Oworo, Oshodi, and Lagos Island are similarly affected, with activities brought to a standstill.

The heavy rain that started on Wednesday about three in the morning has left many people stuck inside their houses and made the streets inaccessible.

This flooding highlights broader challenges facing Lagos residents.
